Can pain be defined in a single word?
it’s seen everywhere.
At times expressed so violently,
at times just lingers in the air.
Physical pain has a reason to it,
though emotional pain too.
It’s hard to judge or comprehend,
which one is greater than who.
Some say it’s sweet and loved by few,
as it adds reason to their life.
Some say it’s piercing and stabs their hearts,
worse than the sharpest knife.
It meets us all in the walk of life,
and tries to hold our hand.
It’s lonely, cold and needs a friend,
one who can understand.
