Fascinated with hues
of colours so bright
I admired with awe
at their beautiful delight.
The world looked so perfect
like some great scenery
with shades of every kind
adorning art and imagery.
I longed to paint
but an amateur I was
I painted sweet smiles
without any cause.
Condemned for my art
I was sentenced decree
or to be demeaned until
to join the league I agree.
A league of syndicates
that cared not for scenic
rather painted characters
of a ruined picturesque .
The colours they splashed
with an evil aim
claimed lives of people
with frustration and shame.
The difference between us
stood us apart
they painted with critics
I painted with art.
